What does it take to run a successful Divsion II collegiate program?
It takes you.
Bombers Rugby recieves approximately $3000 a year in financial support from the college, substantially less than our league counterparts. This allocation represents about 10% of the annual cost for travel, player fees, USA Rugby dues, equipment, tournament fees, coaching support, etc.
In 2013, to help maintain the explosive growth and development of our program, alumni created the Ithaca College Men's Rugby endowment to support all aspects of Bombers Rugby.
Through the endowment, we recieve a direct stream of monetary support annually from the seed investment (your giving), which directly funds bus travel to games, player equipment, team/player fees, etc. Every dollar raised directly impacts the player experience.
Your tax-deductible gift to the Ithaca College Men's Rugby Endowmnent, regardless of size, makes a huge impact in our ability to deliver the best student-athlete experience possible. It allows us to remain competitive in one of the toughest Division II collegiate leagues in the nation. It allows us to continue to make rugby affordable for all Ithaca College students. It allows us to continue to strive for bigger and better achievements.
